1960 Invicta wiring question

At the top center where the starter cable and positive battery cable are connected, just below the relay, there are two yellow wires connected together with a plastic piece that is broken.  This piece has a hex shape on the bottom and was pushed onto the stud for the stud that the cables are connect to.  There is a small screw in the plastic piece and the two yellow wires attached to this screw.

 

Can anyone tell me what is correct for this wiring connection?  I suspect that the plastic piece had a mounting tab on it that broke off and somebody just pushed onto the cable stud.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

We can't guarantee it is correct, but our 60 is largely unmolested, and the wiring here looks original.  Holler if you need a better shot.
