Guest vitadex
Got this from a collector in my car club. He thought it would be a ca 1910-20 Buick rear axle. But is it?
Larry Schramm
It does look like a Weston-Mott axle. I do not recognize the turn buckle on the rod between the two hubs. If I was guessing, I would say closer to 1910 than 1920. Edited June 20, 2016 by Larry Schramm (see edit history)
Mark Shaw
I agree with Larry; maybe early teens. The support rod with the turn buckle also seems to be heavier than original. It could be an aftermarket addition.
Layden B
The felloe band may be the key to ID. How about pictures of it and the wood felloe, both sides? Also any markings on it and dimensions.
Larry Schramm
The wood felloe band makes it generally before 1920
ROD W
In 1913 the torque tube was offset to the diff housing, So maybe middle teens
