nzcarnerd
Maybe Studebaker GL Dictator? The earlier GE, which I have, is on similar looking 20s. Made by Kelsey Hayes. Edited May 24, 2016 by nzcarnerd (see edit history)
DE SOTO
I would say Studebaker also . What do you think it would cost, Shipping & Cost of the wheel If you removed the tire, To ship it to the states ?? That is if your willing to sell it, I need 1 of these wheels for a project
BobPilkie
That is for a 28 studebaker but they came in a few sizes. Some were 3 1/4 wide and 4 1/4 wide my president is 4 1/4 wide with 600/19 tires. So that wheel might be 3 1/4 wide.
nzcarnerd
Having another look at this - I notice the wheels have threaded spokes with nuts. I think the K-H wire on Studebakers have welded spokes. The best pic I can find at short notice of the wheel on a GL Dictator -
sagefinds
I think it's a Budd-Michelin wheel for many mediun sized cars with 5 lugs including the Nash Special Six.
BobPilkie
My 28 studebaker president has the same wire wheels with threaded spokes. I believe they are Kelsey hays. 4 1/4 is the same as mine for the hubcap. 1929 studebaker the hubcap hole is 4 7/8”. Do you still have this wheel. I’d be interested.
