Ford or Chevy rims trying to identify.

I recently acquired some tires in a barn find, I was told they are Ford but someone else said Ford didn't make a 6 lug wheel but Chevy did,

Anyone else want to weigh in on this?

How about a year?

Not only did Ford not make a 6 lug wheel, their wire wheels had wires welded on both ends. All other makers had ferrules passing thru holes on one or both ends.The only thing about them is the hubcaps that somebody obviously stuck on them.

 Possibly from '31 and '32 Chevys.

Look like Chevrolet to me and the 6 lug holes are correct for most Chevys of the era.

 

They used 19 inch wire wheels with 6 holes in 1930 and 31.

 

The 1929 - 34 parts manual shows they used 17 inch on 1932 and 1933 Masters, but most literature says 18 inches for 1933 and my original 33 Master rims are 18 inches, so that could be a typo in the parts manual for those cars.  They also have 6 lug holes.

 

Not 1933 or 34 Standard rims since those are 17 inches and I believe they have 5 holes for lugs.

 

Chevrolet's used 4.75-19 tires in 1930 and 31.

For 1933 Master they used 525/550-18 tires and I am going to assume they used the same in 32 if the rims are the same as 33.

I agree with the above. Probably Chevrolet.
