36 Pontiac silver streek

Thanks for letting me join I have a 36 Pontiac silver streek 4door deluxe and would like to change the front brakes to disc anyone have any ideas that are affordable everywhere I've looked they say that Pontiac is different than the chevys is this true thank you

Welcome to the group.

This group is very helpful, but we are more interested in keeping cars as they came from the factory so the original intent can be passed on to future generations of what the cars were like when they left the factory. 

 

If I can ask, why are you looking to change the front brakes from drum to disc?  These cars very capable of stopping well when the brake system is maintained to factory specifications.  

 

You might want to check one of the other forums that hot rod cars if you really want to do this change, but most of us here do not think this would be necessary.
