Lincoln didnt start useing a v8 until 49.
as far as value, did you buy the car to resell or enjoy for your self. if you are going to keep it and it runs good and makes you happy drive it and enjoy it. if you bought it to sell it the v8 lowers the value quit a bit. to find and rebuild a complete V12 better be prepared to spend around 5-8000.

I recently acquired a 1937 LZ, with a V8 flathead engine which of course doesn't belong to the car, but it runs like new...I just wanted info on what year were the V8 avialable if not in '37, and if it decreases significantly the value of the car...and should I think of replacing it with a V12?
any comments will be appreciated. Thanks
(new to the Zephyr world trying to get as much knowledge as possible....fell in love with the car first time i saw it.)
null
[ 06-03-2002: Message edited by: miguel ]
[ 06-03-2002: Message edited by: miguel ]
[ 06-03-2002: Message edited by: miguel ]
