Guest saints
I am working on a 58 buick special sooooo Where do you get that sheet metal piece that is below the fuel door and in between the bumper points. It looks to be galvanized with black stripes painted. but all I have seen personally have been badly rusted and mine someone painted with a rattle can. can you buy this or replicate it. or give up thanks in advance
Pete Phillips
I have some, but like most, they are dull and need to be repainted. The way to paint them is to get some thin, black, drafting tape--needs to be the same width as the clear (silver) stripes. You can get it at a drafting supply or art supply store. Put the tape on over the silver stripes, then paint the whole panel black. When paint has dried, remove the black tape and you will have a nice silver and black striped panel.
