A good showing is expected with a antique and a modified 1953 Special Riveria.(See attached) Also Betty Boop should be there representing the Fitty-Fo Skylark modified. Caballero2 Posted June 19, 2016 Author Share Posted June 19, 2016 (edited) Well MrEarl: About seventy high quality attended and among them two '54 Skylarks, one '54 Century Convertible, one '54 Special Convertible. Then there was one '53 Skylark, a 53 Super woody wagon, and a '53 Special two door. Not to mention the '53 Special Riveria in the show room. and several '57s. One convertible, (mine) one Estate Wagaon two Centurys Riverias. and one Special Riveria. More pictures to follow with the Pre-war beauties. A '29 Roadster was given "Best of Show". Mike and Ruth Buena Vista Took the baby up to this show, and met some really nice folks. Got there @ 6;30 and helped Tim Gibson set up. A great day with temp's in the mid 80's but lots of cloud cover. King Buick folks made us very welcome, and were quite interested in the cars, which were all BEAUTIFUL !!!! Playing with the big boys now.................. No registration fee, free food and drink, and won 1st place in the '40 - '49 division. WHAT A DAY !!!! We'll be back...............
