Gene Brink
Very cool. When I was a kid there were lots of nailheads in hot rods but not so much anymore
Ben Bruce aka First Born
Quiet a compliment. Have never seen a Ford engine in a Buick. Ben Edited April 12, 2016 by First Born (see edit history)
Barney Eaton
Toured to shop that built the 2016 "Riddler" car yesterday, this 32 Roadster P/U had a nailhead. There was another Buick street rod but could not see the engine, thought I had a full picture but it is the black car on the left Edited April 12, 2016 by Barney Eaton (see edit history)
Pomeroy41144
With all due respect, that is a 1932 Ford, not a 1934 Ford.

Clearly i'm far to distracted......it even says "32 Ford" on the window tag.
RivNut
If you put a Duvall windshiedl on an old Ford, it's hard to tell if you can't see the rear pan' tail lights and grills can be changed, bumpers swapped, Either way, it's a cool ride. In the "day" lots of Buicks were used because they were narrow across the heads and would fit under narrow hoods. They also produced much more power before the advent of aftermarket cams, intakes, etc. Ed
buick5563
Nailheads are becoming much more prevalent in the younger hot Rodder community. Not rat rods, but the same guys. I just sold two 401's to a 30-something Kustom builder up in Waco. I have also seen a bunch of nailhead pics from the Lone Star Roundup last weekend. This could be really good for us Buick guys if they spark a resurgence in aftermarket parts.
