Both built in Kansas in 1956.  A poster of this pic hangs in Plant I at Beechcraft.

We have since replaced the tires, re-chromed front & back bumpers, and re-covered the seats.  I guess it's time for a re-shoot.

I can never work out which end I like best, front or rear!!

And a question - how do I keep these photos the same size as the others on this thread?

Hey Stuart, your photos appear to have been resized and are actually low pixels. When I first posted a photo I resized them the same and could not work it out. Just testing it again and I do not resize, just attach the actual photo direct from the computer.

By the way, your '50 looks great from any direction! Jetbacks are always a bit special (no pun intended) from the back though.

Here in Kansas, USA, the only way to get a photo as dramatic as the ocean in the background is to try and get an incoming storm in the background.  We really like to keep our cars under cover in times like that because the hail can get quite large and you shouldn't dilly dally when it holds a tornado... LOL

That's a nice shot John!

Thanks Dei.  My wife was so embarrassed.  There was a police officer standing nearby when I backed up onto the empty sidewalk to take the picture.  The officer never said anything, and we waved as we left.
