dei
I'm in the process of cleaning out one garage (sold the property) and coming across things buried for a long time like this Buick cap. It eventually will be going in my office beside the shelf with some Buick things I have there.

dei
Thanks but again, I don't want to stray from the original intent of the thread, especially since I don't smoke. Is there another thread where it might better fit?

Is there another thread where it might better fit? I think "Show us your Buick Hats" would be a great new thread, feel free start it and post it there. I know @old-tank has one he'll contribute 😄 Once it's started i'll edit and remove it here, 10-4. 60FlatTop
Buick was notorious for being tight with salesmen's perks. Burt Grailbraith, the son of Ray Traugott, our local dealership, knew that well. About 20 years after the dealership had changed hands and then closed Burt knocked on my front door and handed me this Buick lighter. It plays a little tune but all I have heard is a ding (like Monty Python). Bert sold my this car in 1966 when I was 17 and a couple of weeks from High School graduation for $600. Then in 1972, shortly after coming home from the Navy, he sold me this Riviera for $1,600. We were always good friends. He had a liquor store on Main St. and any time I pulled up in front with a new to me Buick he could tell me its local history. 3

MrEarl
Another eBay score. Super rare and was priced accordingly but with a “best offer” option. Lesson learned- never hesitate to make an offer even if you know it won’t be accepted. Goes well with the radial engine piston top and in use
