Gas Tank Send Unit for 1938 - part 192957

I think there were two different senders in 1938.

It was in the time that auto makers started to standardizing some parts.

Early cars had a much larger mounting flange for the tank mounted sender.

Later cars used the smaller flange that most makers used as standard.

Wolfe Co repairs both kinds. 440  942 0083. Good people to deal with.

You could also check with Bob's Speedometers in Michigan. They did my instruments and did a perfect job.

They advertise they repair sending units. I know nothing about how or cost, but you could check with them.
