Barney Eaton
I have seen quite a few things used to replace the plastic rollers inside the Reatta headlight motor, but here is a new one for me.... wooden dowel. I received a pair of motors that had been worked on at some time and when I opened the first one the powder did not look like ones I had seen in the past. When I opened the second motor, the wooden dowel rod was in various stages of disintegration.... I have attached a photo. While it seemed to work, what we don't know is for how long. We also don't know the variety of wood, but it had a nice straight grain.
