Same Make, Different years?

Recommended Posts

This is the last three. I posted them together ( which I don't usually do ) because my wife thinks they are all the same make.

First one looks like a 1925 Cole. The third car is a 1926 Jordan. Here is the closed version of the Jordan and a Cole roadster....

OK. I can buy the Cole. The emblem is totally different from the earlier Cole eagle.

The middle car must be something else. All the Coles I see have slab doors.

To be clear, I thought the middle car might be an unrestored version of one of the other two, not that they were all the same.

 And I didn't say "aint".

I have not figured out the middle car, yet. Not that I will. It looks to be an early 1920s car with a 1926 style "raised reveal" fender. It looks almost like the letter "B" on the radiator shell emblem.

That All Wheel steer feature should help ID the car. Bob

That All Wheel steer feature looks to have been added during the wreck....

Are there any more ideas on the 'all wheel steer' car?

Just ran across this old thread.  The first car is a 1923 Cole Aero Volante.  That was the last year of the dual side mount tires on a Cole.  Also, that was the last year of the Aero 8 branding.  The Aero 8's all had a propeller under the moto meter which your picture does.  For 1924 and 1925, Cole went to the 'Master Model' branding.
