Guest pjd822
I have a '62 Skylark with power brakes and need either a rebuilt brake master cylinder or a master cylinder rebuild kit. Can anyone suggest a source? Thanks in advance. Edited January 19, 2016 by pjd822 (see edit history)
joe_padavano
I have a '62 Skylark with power brakes and need either a rebuilt brake master cylinder or a master cylinder rebuild kit. I have searched the internet extensively and cannot find either. Can anyone suggest a source? Thanks in advance. Kanter has them on an exchange basis. I was able to get a rebuild kit for the M/C in my 62 F-85 from NAPA and do it myself. You may want to consider having your original sleeved first by a vendor such as White Post. Guest Bob Call
Northwestern Auto Supply in Grand Rapids, MI, might be a good source. Rapid service. I sent them a 52 Chrysler MC by Priority mail on a Friday and they shipped it back on Monday. Look them up on the internet for their 800 number. No catalog just call and talk to a real parts guy that knows his stuff.
Rusty_OToole
Have you tried your local NAPA store? They can usually get brake parts for older cars, it may take a day or 2 to get them in.
