Reinstalling fuel pump on '50 248

Guys finally got my '50 down here to VA. Will now have time and a garage to work on it. I had pulled fuel pump in spring and had Then & Now rebuild it. Anything special about putting the pump back on? I've gone thru the Shop Manual looking for removal or install directions and couldn't find either. Does the arm need to be held up or pushed down when inserted back into the block and aligning with the cam? Any pointers would be good. I was planning on at least coating the end of the arm with some oil or grease so it might protect the cam some.

Not sure it's necessary but the last mechanical fuel pump I installed called for packing the pump body cavity with grease.  I used wheel bearing grease.  That was on my 72 Electra.  I do not see how that can hurt any mechanical fuel pump, but other may disagree.
