1932 Buick 67 Restoration Update

Recommended Posts

This is the progress of our restoration project. There is still a lot to be done, but it is already turning out to be a nice car. Here are some before and current photos, and some interesting advertisements that I have found for this car, too. Some time in the early 1940's the owner ( my great grandfather) swapped out the updraft carburetor for a downdraft Carter carburetor along with a 6 volt electric fuel pump. We are planning on keeping it that way - just how he had it when it was used as a farm car for the citrus groves in California.

As pacrat  said, looks  great,  Originally in amazing shape considering it was used as a farm car  usually they get pretty rough treatment on the farm.

Thanks guys! I'm pushing for it to be done well before spring. I can't wait to fire it up and drive it.

Pacrat -

Here are a couple of close-ups of the pin striping that is on my 1932 Buick 8-80 Victoria Travelers Coupe.  I too, have the shades which compliment the interior to no end.  Have the striping and shades on both cars....................Buick and the 1930 Packard.  Go for it on the shades!

Looks like a first class job on the interior.  Are you moving forward on the shades?  I can shoot some pictures over if you'd like?

Chuck -

Looks very nice!  Attached are pictures of the shades in my '32.  Interesting to see the different color combinations and all original to the car!

Here are some photos of my 67 S interior and pin striping.

Oooh! That back seat resembles one big comfy chair! Looking at the pictures makes me sleepy...want to take a long nap while being chauffeured around.
