Guest therese Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 My 1956 Buick Specials hood release is not catching onto anything, rendering the hood stuck. We can't access the release from underneath as there is a plate that guards the underneath of the car in this spot. Any suggestions? We've tried pushing, coat hanger etc to no avail. It's looking like we need to drill a whopping hole in the guard plate underneath the car to gain access. Is there another way? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
