Guest G. Wayne Miller
I am excited to announce that I will be presenting a seminar at AACA's annual meeting in Philadelphia, Feb. 11 - 13. Also, signing copies of Car Crazy. "Barney Oldfield, Henry Ford and the Birth of American Auto Racing" is the title of my seminar, which I will illustrate with many photos, some rarely if ever seen, of cars from the earliest days of American racing: 1895 to 1910, two years after the Model T came out. Looking forward to meeting fellow AACA members and having a great time at this meeting on the 80th anniversary of AACA! Some details here and more soon. And happy holidays, all. mcdarrunt
Have seen this quote several times. In their older years Henry and Barney were at a function together when Henry said to Barney, "Barney I guess we made each other", and Barney replied, "Yes and I did a much better job".
