Guest roadking2003
Hi,Looking for info on this old dashboard. I bought it at a barn sale, It has a White faced Stewart-Warner Speedometer * a Remy Oldsmobile Ignition switch/ light switch. 36 1/2" long x 8 5/8" high. Can anyone ID this ?? 1916-1920? maybe? The back of the Speedo has the numbers 104 15. Thanks Roadking2003 Edited December 19, 2015 by roadking2003 (see edit history)
nickelroadster
I can tell you that it is not for one of the larger v8 models such as the 44. 45, 46 and 47. I would say that it is from one of the smaller models such as the 37, 43A or model 30 going up through the twenties. The 75mph speedometer would lead me to guess that it is a model 30 from the twenties. I don't know where you would find pictures of dahboards but I would google these models and see what you could find.
Guest roadking2003
Thank you Nickelroadster for your info. Looks like it is a Model 43 from approx. the years I said.
Steve Moskowitz
I will try to give you the exact year but don't think 20 is right as they had a square switch for that year.

Steve Moskowitz
Embarrassed since I owned a couple but just could not remember! 1923 Olds Model 43 (four cylinder).
nickelroadster
You should realise that the model 43 and later 43A are quite different. If it is a 43A it would be from 1920 to 1923. The earlier model 43s have the same dash as the model 44. Edited December 24, 2015 by nickelroadster (see edit history)

Steve Moskowitz
Yep, I just left the A off but it fits a '23 for sure as it is dead on after looking at some pictures of my old '23. I would love to find an ignition switch from this area in good condition.
OLDMAN
This dashboard is identical to my 1922 Oldsmobile 43AT 5 passenger touring car. From left to right: Oil gauge, Speedometer, Switches to turn on start mode and lights, and Amp meter. Above is the dash light and knob to open the vent on the cowl. At the bottom next to the steering column is the choke knob. Nice purchase.
