Where's the NEW Stude??

Recommended Posts

I posted this here since the pre-war forum is a tad LESS sleepy than the post-war forum and I am searching for anyone who might have heard something beyond the below. It has greatly intriqued me since it ran originally in Feb 2002:
http://www.detnews.com/2002/autosinsider/0202/09/autos-410391.htm
With 'new' manufacturers popping up and long-gone-from-the-USA makes returning, it would be fantastic to see the return of a great past US nameplate.
Has anyone heard or seen anything further on this matter? I'd dearly love to see even a sketch...

I too, have been "daydreaming" about the possibility of the Studebaker name being resurrected from the dead.
On one website, which I can not remember, I did run across a very brief mention of the article which you mentioned.
I PLEDGE to buy one if, and when, they become a reality.
If anyone hears more of this, or has more information, please contact me at djtepera@pdq.net
Thanks; shocked.gif" border="0
