Ike1302
Good wishes to all,My 1941 Ford Super Deluxe antenna was bent and in trying to straighten it out, it snapped. My concern is with removel and compromising the seal from the roof top into the cabin area and if not done right, possible leaks. Is there any how to instructions available by web or paperback that might guide me in the replacement of the antenna assembly? Also i have purchased the mechanical manual from Chiltons with the hopes of this book having topics for interior break down and installations but not so, any recommendations in this area? And thank you all in advance for your help.
19tom40
Dennis Carpenter sell a replacement antenna with new rubber seal and instructions for installation. http://dennis-carpenter.com/radio-antenna-assembly/p/11A-18813/ You may be able to leave the roof seal and adapter in place and only replace the mast and O-ring.
