TerryB
Found this photo recently at a local estate sale. I think it was from a quarry in Lititz PA area. The truck has a 1924 license plate on it.

Layden B
Is that REPUBIC on the radiator?
TerryB
Yes it is. Not sure about the truck behind the horse team. I also have a pic of the quarry too. There are some old cars visible in the barn behind the quarry. Looks like a happy group on the truck!Terry
keiser31
The trucks look to be the same type/make except the rear truck has no hood sides.
Restorer32
I believe that quarry is still in operation. Just North of Lititz?

Larry Schramm
The trucks look different. The radiator on the front truck has straight sides, but the one behind it seems to have an angle from the bottom to the top. Might be same manufacturer just different years.?? Might be same manufacturer just different years.??I think it might just be the angle of the photograph. I could be wrong, but to me, it looks like every other aspect of the truck in the rear is the same.
1912Staver
The hubs on the rear truck look larger/ protrude more. Don't see any sign of the wheel spokes on the rear wheel like on the front truck. Front axle has a more shallow curve on the Republic, rear truck seems to have a more pronounced drop in the center of the axle. Definitely could be a slightly different year or model of Republic, but could also be any one of many makes of trucks from this era. The photo lacks enough detail to be sure. I agree the rad looks different as well. Greg in Canada Edited December 21, 2015 by 1912Staver (see edit history)
