HISTORY: Dart started by producing bicycles at the turn of the 20th century, and started building trucks in 1903. They also sold loose engines to individuals that wanted to power their own vehicle,or application, like uses on a farm, dairy, sawmill etc. It appears they built the two cylinder through the 1913 model year. They moved from Anderson Ind. to Waterloo Iowa in 1910 when purchased by William Galloway who also built the Farmobile tractor. Tractor production started about 1920 with the 12-25 and 15-30 which sold for $1850 and $2000. The TY model was a three plow rig of 4500 pounds. All seemed to use Buda engines.Tractor production seemed to end in the late twenties
