Does 5 credits count as milestone for extra CJE credit?

Recommended Posts

Not that it matters at this point for myself, but I got my certificate today and the friendly letter congratulated me on my "milestone". The rule books gives the example of "milestone" starting at 10 but it's not an exclusive list, though I had presumed 10 was the first time to earn the extra point. Can a new judge earn a extra milestone credit the year you achieve your 5th point?

No,

At 5 Credits you get a certificate to recognize that you are now a "Senior Judge", but the first Milestone for an Extra CJE is at 10 Credits when you reach "Senior Master Judge" and receive a Board, Pin and Certificate.

Thanks, that's what I thought but the wording made me question and I figured other new judges would wonder as well. The cards we fill out at the events are pretty confusing to me too. They always ask for number of events judged or something and for me that'd be 2, but my understanding is they are asking for judging credits. I play miniature army games so I tend to overthink wording!

I received the same certificate and was quite pleased in being recognized, though I too thought the the first milestone was at 10 with the judging board :)

I got mine framed and its sitting on my back office desk. I'm in sales, so it's nice having something other than business to talk about. Set the frame so I can keep updating. 5 points isn't exactly impressive =-D
