Curti
Are there any numbers on the underside? If not, I would say aftermarket..

Guest AlCapone
Not a lot of detail and I would suggest it is after market! Wayne
Guest MrNova
More than likely aftermarket - but I have to say, it's simple smooth flowing lines gives it a beautifully graceful calming look.
keiser31
Definitely aftermarket or homemade with some good skills.
28 Chrysler
Perhaps a hood ornament from a bird of pray, from the Star Trek series.

John348
Is it even for an automobile?
Kimo
The signature under the wing appears to have been made by a rotary engraver like a Dremel or a Proxxon such being weilded like a large pen. This makes it more likely that it is a home-made figure. That along with the odd and not terribly graceful or accurate proportions.
