My 1909 2 cylinder Oakland 20B pulled one of the two spots on the red carpet and 1st in the Brass Car Division at the 11th Annual Americana Manhasset Concours D'Elegance today.  It's one of two known and has the counterclockwise Alanson Brush engine with the fan-top cylinder heads.  Wheels have 12 spokes and WB is 100".  Car is being sorted for touring next year.

Your Oakland looks Fabulous - Bob Lamond Brush Historian - I have the world 's only 2cylinder Brush Motor which was found in Hawaii some years ago and restored in Australia. I drove my 1910 Brush D26 with the 2 cylinder engine installed in 2012 from Perth to Sydney, 4,454 KMS  to celebrate the Centenary of the 1912 First Automobile Crossing of Australia.

Sadly & obviously the counter balance shaft had broken and gone into space SO I want to replace it and am asking all 1908 Oakland Blokes if they have any photos and diagrams which show the counter balance shaft and weights to email me what info you have to lamond2@bigpond.com. Thanks Bob Lamond

I see this is a five year old thread so hopefully the original poster is still reading these pages.

This 1909(?) Oakland was at the 1978 POCI Convention in Orlando Florida. I had an idea it was owned by PMD at the time and was a two cylinder car. At the time I was young and didn't appreciate what it represented.
