edinmass
Sitting for almost 25 years the 100 percent original Pierce Arrow has recently been throughly gone through from top to bottom and is ready to give years of trouble free ownership to its next caretaker. Having always been garaged since new, this may be the finest example of a factory original car from 1929. The interior is very, very nice, and even the soft top on the car is factory. Having sat for many years this car was recently driven and displayed for the first time ever at a antique car event, so it is new and fresh to the hobby. Having been through a complete mechanical sorting by marque expert John Cislak, it is ready to go and show right now. A partial list of what has been done....... Rings, valves, oil pump, timing chain, carb overhaul, fuel pump, distributor, water pump, fuel tank cleaned and relined, new clutch, rebuilt steering box, fixed everything..........everything......clock,gas gauge, lights, horn, wipers, everything on this car works as when it was delivered. Stromberg carb is in perfect condition, as is the exhaust manifold. All the known problem areas have been fixed or serviced regardless of time or expense. This car is the definition of turn key. I will post some more photos over the next few days. The paint and upholstery have not been touched. Only the wire wheels were painted in the 70's from the best we can determine. Runs and drives all day, starts hot or cold. Yes, the radiator shutters open and close as they should......everything works on this car. Come take it for a drive here in Massachusetts or if we still have it at the Hershey Fall Meet in the red field RCH 40-41. Call or email with questions. 413 543 9017 or pierceparts@aol.com . You won't find a better turn key original CCCA classic anywhere. Drive it home cross country if you please........it runs and drives that good. Offered at 41,500 or best offer by the end of Hershey as we need the garage space for several other winter projects. This car will not disappoint. Ed. alsancle
Such a neat good looking car which I did see in person at Hershey. Shocked it hasn't sold yet - must be the guy selling it doesn't know what he is doing.
