Editing problems ?

All of my editing settings at the top are being greyed out and am having to use inline HTML even for line breaks.

Am getting reports of people not having the edit function. Are we having problems?

I had not noticed that... Now let me see if I can edit this post.

 

I can edit it without any problem, but that could be a moderator only situation. 

 

Are you still having editing problems?

I can edit but had a member report that he could not. However the whole formatting section at the top of the reply form with things like italics, bold, links, inages, and font is greyed out for me. I am having to add manually with HTML when needed.

I am not having that problem. Bold Italic... Yes, That works just fine for me.

 

I suspect it may be computer software issue rather than a forum issue.  

 

Grayed out or missing? If it is totally missing, do you see the small triangle on the far right side of the screen just above the text reply box? That allows you to hide or expand that text toolbar.

 

There is also an options button on the right end of the toolbar line just above that one. You may want to check that one and try cycling through the options there.

Found out it is the square on the left upper side with no balloon that enables/disables formatting.
