Guest Rivdog
I did a search didn't find anything. Where would I jack the car and put my jack stands? If someone has a picture or diagram that would be great. I'd like to use my 2 ton trolley floor jack rather than the tire jack.
RivNut
I'd lift the rear end using the center of the pumpkin on the rear end, then put the jack stands under the rear axle. In the front, use your jack under the front cross member lifting both sides at the same time. Place your jack stands under the lower A-arms. That's where the weight is distributed when the car is on the ground so it should work for when it's in the air. Ed
Lapham3
As Ed says...and don't even consider using a bumper jack on these cars-they are mostly decorations as the bumpers won't take kindly to lifting these heavy cars-good luck
