1927 Oldsmobile sport coupe

I just completed restoration on my 1930 Studebaker President FE, first picture. After the first of the year I plan to start restoring the 1927 Oldsmobile sport coupe, the other pictures.  I'm looking for any information, data, books, specs that anyone can share for this car.  It is in good shape and ran several years ago, but has been setting in storage for a while.  Any information that one can share for the motor and power train would be really helpful before I start the process. I want to restore it back as it was when it rolled off the line as close as I can for 2015.  Correct paint colors for the day will be needed.  Interior style and color combinations will be needed as well. Also is there a parts source for this model. Thanks again for your help

Your Oldsmobile is a 1928 .Quite different to the 1927 Olds but very similar to 1929 and 1930.

I restored a 1930 Olds and obtained pistons and rings from Egge Parts .Also obtained some mechanical parts from Then & Now Automotive AKA Antique Auto Parts Cellar.Wheel bearings and seals from the well known Obsolete Bearing and seal suppliers.Parts for these occassionally appear on Ebay.

Yours looks like a very nice car and appears to have the  original paint going by the photos .

If there is anything specific you need to know please ask and I will answer if I can .I did a lot of research on 28-30 Olds when restoring mine mid 1980s to mid 1990s .

Many of the parts for these interchange with 1929 to 1930 Marquette .

Hope this helps .

Your Studebaker looks very nice !

Additional comment. Yours may even be a 1929. If you post a clearer picture of the top of the grille shell and radiator shutters I will be able to be more definate .

Thanks for all of the information, it is all helpful.  I have more information and pictures that might help identification.  This car has been in the family since the early 1980’s, and it is titled and has been registered as long as we have had it as a 1927.   The fire wall tag, picture included, states a Fisher Body Corp.  Job No 8320 and Body no 9747.  I have also included a few more pictures of the radiator shell and top of hood, dash, which may be helpful.   Where would the official VIN number be, is it the engine number? Thanks again for your help.
