Mudbone Posted June 25, 2022 Author Posted June 25, 2022 We had a nice drive there and back. Good thing I got the wipers working, it rained all the way back... 9

Mudbone Posted August 4, 2022 Author Posted August 4, 2022 Turning Back Time Car Show. Sycamore IL. My son Matt is driving One Bid to the show. I was driving my dad’s Model T Depot Hack. His comments are priceless…. 3 2
usnavystgc Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 Shoot, that's a baby Buick. I wonder what he'd say driving a Super/RM. 2
old-tank Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 You need to delete that review/drive report. After that I will never be able to sell mine! 2

As long as you have power steering you will be fine....... (He was filming his own video with his phone and didn't know the dash-cam had sound!) 1 1
Mudbone Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 (edited) I was at the local Steam Power show and Flee-Market and found some Whiz/Delco shock absorber fluid. It still has about a quart left! (I had to have it) Edited August 13, 2022 by Mudbone (see edit history) 8
Ben Bruce aka First Born Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 (edited) I wonder! Maybe it can be analyzed and compared to modern hydraulic oil?? Neat find. Ben Edited August 16, 2022 by Ben Bruce aka First Born (see edit history) 1 1

Mudbone Posted October 14, 2022 Author Posted October 14, 2022 I put the fuel door bling on. We are heading up to a fall festival. (Crafts, apple orchards, flee market etc.) We like to take One bid in case we buy something big. A few years ago we bought a corner glass cabinet. It just barley fit in the back seat. If we would have taken the Lucerne we would have had to go back to get it with a truck. 8

Mudbone Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) I have an uncle that lives 6 hours away in Iowa. We see each other about once a year at our family reunion. (He is 94) He has always joked about me and my Buicks. He had me find some stick-on fake portholes to put on his Chevy SUV. He does not have a cell phone or internet. His son who was my age passed a couple years ago so he is alone. I decided to start making copies and mailing old photos that he may never have seen. I started with the one from my first 55 Buick when I was in 8th grade. He called me this morning after he received the photos. He was so excited to see these as he never knew I had that first Buick. And he was able to see my dad (His brother) helping me drop the engine in later in 1971. And now I plan on sending him more photos every couple weeks. EmTee Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Hmmm, at 94 doesn't he deserve a 4th ventiport?!? Nice story, BTW. Maybe plan an extended road trip for "One Bid" next year...? 1

Mudbone Posted November 7, 2022 Author Posted November 7, 2022 He wanted the old oval shaped ones more like a 56. Apparently they quit making those. Now they are more round. I finally found a set on EBay and they were NOS. 3
Mudbone Posted November 12, 2022 Author Posted November 12, 2022 That time of year in IL. I got the Bu-Fords put away.
