Guest JanOve Posted September 16, 2015 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Hi, I have a Oldsmobile 98 1964, 394, Carb is a Rochester 4 Jet The problem is that the engine begins to hack uphill, but if I'm on gas, it works until the next uphill. It could be also be a distributor vacuum advance problem in that the rubber diaphragm inside the advance mechanism has deteriorated to the point it does not advance the timing when under load?
