Have to replace some wood. Need all the help I can get regarding some old Fisher Body Manual reference material. Also wondering if anyone has any wood patterns at all for either the roadster or the Master sedan because I also have a sedan that needs all the wood replaced. But the roadster is my main concern. Have some of the rear pieces missing and could use some help to try and figure out was was there.

There is a reprint of a book that comes up from time to time on EBAY that is all about the early Fisher body manufacturing. This covers how many early teens and 20's car wood was made and shows pictures. I can't think of the name right now, but many 20's car restorers as well as some of the Durant Car Club members recommend it. I will try to think of the name, but you might do a search on Ebay for Fischer body and see what turns up.  I was fortunate for my body wood was mostly intact except for some rot that I cut out and patched in some places. Other areas like the top I constructed out of oak and hand formed to the right shape for the top.  You might also post on the Buick forum here and see what others might suggest.

Working on patterns for all the wood in a 1925 Buick standard touring. Shims, body mounting, etc. Should have these by summer of 2016. Then I need to figure out how to make copies of my Kraft paper drawings. The paper for the sills is 7' X 3'. Many drawings are 4' X 3'. Hugh

Thank you for the advise on making copies.  I made all of the drawings to 24" x 36" size (3 are 18" x 24").  Some pieces take multiple sheets, as all the wood parts are drawn full size.  I had them scanned at Office Max/Office Depot to .pdf, so you can print at your closest print shop.  They are large files, so I would need to send a USB drive with the drawing files on them first.  There are 22 sheets, and it is in the neighborhood of $80 to print all the drawings.  ($.60/ft sq).  The photo is what the drawings cover.  This is a 1925 Buick standard touring (25-25)  Hugh
