Guest
I just bought 1972 Electra 225 and wondering what is the transmission in it? At least it is 400 but what type? It has got a two electric wires, one from detent switch and another one seems to be hot run (12 V).
When driving at a light speed and pressing a pedal slightly something makes a loud noise that sounds like some electric solenoid or relay is going on/off intermittently. When releasing pedal or push it more, sound disappear.
Detent switch works at driving speed but transmission goes neutral or has got no drive.
