Value And production numbers of early 4x4s?

Recommended Posts

Is there a good source for production numbers as well as values of early 4x4s? There's a 1959 Ford 1/2 ton I'm interested in, and also maybe a 1950 Ford with Marmon-Herrington conversion, but I'd be curious about Dodge and GM too.

One excellent reference book is the

"Standard Catalog of 4x4s, 1945-2000."

It is published by Krause Publications.

It is an extremely thorough reference book

of more than 700 pages, softbound, and it will

include all sorts of statistics about them--

engines, production numbers, options and prices,

and descriptive paragraphs for each model for

each year.

Although it has values in an appendix in the back,

values change regularly, so those are likely out of date.

But a much used price guide is Old Cars Report Price Guide,

also by Krause Publications, issued bi-monthly in magazine

format and available on larger newsstands.

Krause Publications also puts out a thorough "2016 Collector Car

Price Guide," which is an annual soft-bound book, and it covers

more than the bi-monthly magazine format.  Here is a link
