mickthecat
Any ideas on this one? The boxy shape of the turtledeck makes me think Essex.
keiser31
Essex would have a piano hinge at the rear of the front doors.
nzcarnerd
The location looks like it might be Paris, France. The wheels and hubs look like 1920s Citroen B10 although I have not yet matched the body. Any ideas on the date of the photo?
1937hd45
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I agree, the size of the license plate is another hint it is in Europe. Bob
roysboystoys
She looks like about a 1900 model. No clue on the car.
dictator27
Does look French but not Citroen or Peugeot and definitely not Renault. The angular body lines might hint at Donnet Zedel. Terry
nzcarnerd
I have been advised that this is an Opel 4/20 of about 1930. I was right re the Citroenesque wheels as this model is a development of the Opel Laubfrosch which was derived from the Citroen 5CV of the 1920s. There is a similar car in a similar setting here - http://onlycarspictures.com/photo/opel-4-ps/11/default.html
dictator27
Looks like a match to me. Nice hood ornament. Terry Edited July 29, 2015 by dictator27 (see edit history)
