John N. Packard
Thomas,
Your postman is reading it before delivery or perhaps like my situation your neighbor is reading it, to whom it was delivered by mistake!
jnp
Guest SalG (Sal Grenci)
Hi all, I usually get my issue at the end of the first month of the bi-monthy issue. i.e.July-August, I got the last week of July. I am only a five hour drive from Hershey and not accross an ocean. SalG
ThomasBorchers
Who can say me how I can get a 2nd try for my July/August issue of the Antique Automobile. It seems that it is lost in the mail and I would like to have it but the headquarter has no Email address, or? Phone is not so good for me.
Thanks.
Thomas
------------------
Thomas Borchers
Member of AACA # 004829
HCCA and MAFCA
ronbarn
Thomas, Just called Jeanne Smith at headquarters and she said she would send another copy today. Don't have the slightest idea how long it takes to get there, but you should receive in a few days.
ThomasBorchers
Thank you Ron!
Normally it takes 8 to 10 days. My Restorer of the MAFCA needs two months!!!
Thomas
Guest
You mean our Headquarters has no email address and is therefore not accessable to all of those on the Forum, and other computer literate members and interested parties, except by phone or US Mail? Last month my carrier pigeon came back empty handed! Heavens, and this is the 9th month into the 21st century, too!
ply33
hvs,
Actually the 21st Century is still a bit over three months off. It starts January 1, 2001.
Tod
Guest
I just knew that one of you scientific, technical types would pick up on that! ~
hvs
Guest SalG (Sal Grenci)
Thomas and hvs, I have our executive directors email address because I was on a panel with he and his wife in Philly in Feb, but I do not know if he wants it out. Guest
Probably not, Sal. What you may have is his personal email address and I don't think any of us should be publishing other people's email addresses. Thomas and I are referring to the lack of an email contact at AACA Headquarters. We must be the only National Club without one. We can only hope that will be rectified soon. ~ hvs
Guest SalG (Sal Grenci)
hvs, Both Model T clubs have much more internet ability for their offices. We need to catch up with the times. SalG
Guest
Maybe this has something with our lack of appeal to the younger adults. They are just not up on communication by carrier pigeon.
Out here in the West smoke signals have gone out of fashion so that lets that out too.
Howard
