original 1933 gas tank to engine fuel line?

Recommended Posts

I have to revise this post. I found in ford green bible that the gas tank to firewall is a two steel hose system. The large tube for the gas and the smaller tube for air? The Green book shows two numbers

18-9296 and 18-9297 for the identical part???

MAC's auto have a hose that looks like it may be the one, they list the part as 40-9289 called siamese Gas gauge Air and fuel lines? Any info on these parts will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I read in a hod rod site that the original fuel line and fuel gauge were at best troublesome.

Because the air line had to be perfect without the slightest leak...

I probably will not try to restore the original fuel gauge...seems like a pain...I have too many other projects going on with my car.
