Shoot. We played many shows with the Reverend. Gatton threatened to steal some trim from my Special at a show at Fort Reno park in DC where we opened up for him when I was 18. He was a hot rod guy to the core.

Found some French's BBQ Twangy Mustard the other day at WalMart.  Ought to make a nice "overnight soak" for Spam Pie before going into the microwave.  Add some Duke's mayonnaise on top, with parsley and paprika for color.  Now, if you can believe it's a version of sweet potata pie with "whipped cream" on top, you've been driving too many "other brands" of cars lately!

Proceed at your own risk (and desires for you adventurous ones)!

Happy 4th of July!

I've been slowly making improvements on my 65 GMC. I'm using it as my daily driver while working on it. It has a 454 in it that iI hope to replace with a Buick 455 or nailhead in time. The rear end was replace with a newer posi unit that is geared much better and I put taller tires on it and now it cruises easily at 70 mph running just 2600 rpm. I've been averaging 13.5 which isn't bad considering it has a big Edlebrock carb on top of that big block. I also mounted a 22 gallon gas tank on the rear of the frame getting the 16 gallon bomb out of the cab. Not quite sure why those ppictures are inside down. I even went into my picture gallery and rotated them and they still show up the same.

Getting ready for my annual trek to the bike eally in Sturgis South Dakota. I stay at the Buffalo Chip campground, not the nicest campground but the naughtiest and the best bands. I hate trying to leave after seeing ZZ top at midnight on my bike. Two weekends ago I was a a biker night in Sioux City and I ran into some of the Chipsters. 2 of them work at one of the full service bike washes and they all help out at the bars. The one alone with me is a calendar/pinup girl. Of course they couldn't resist my animal magnatism. Oh and a picture of my Harley.

I just got through picking about a gallon of semi-sweet cherries...time to wash some up (better part of two gallons in the fridge from previous days' pickings) and start pitting and make some pie or tarts.

NOW I know where that Korean spam was coming from a few weeks back.  It all makes sense now.

If they had said they were serving this at their online Casino, I would have been cool with it.  Now I'm kinda sad they are gone (but my email server isn't).

Or make the Spam slices thicker and get Arrie to find you some goose eggs...may need to bake rather than fry for that though.

Now why can't I remember important things?

Good Lord, my daughter wrote that story what 8,9 or more years ago, and you remember it, AND her name ?.!  Scary!

Actually I'm thinking one emu egg would be enough to do a whole can of Spam

I may be older than I was a few days ago, but I remain a relative youngster in these parts so I ought to be able to remember something.

Who can forget Jordan's reaction to you waking him up to a tractor being towed....

I was Spam shopping the other day, and while the jalapeño Spam was calling my name, there was something intriguing about the black pepper variety.  I think it spoke to my deeply rooted love for black Buicks.

Plus, it's fun:  Are those dark spots on my meat mold or pepper?  Who cares, they are yummy!
