Guest logan74k
Hi all, Trying to ID what this was before it was repurposed as art. It could have been cut down from a larger piece. Hoping the shape is distinct enough that one of you classic car experts has seen a similar part. I thought maybe some kind of tail light piece, but haven't seen anything very close yet in searching. The piece I'm looking at is the chrome surround which is being used as a 'mask' and to hold all the greeblies, the bearing etc. Here's what it looks like from a number of angles. You can get some sense of scale from the electrical cable, the doll head, and the picture below If you recognize any other parts for sure I'm also glad to hear em, but mostly trying to ID the big chrome piece. Thank you.
