Guest Posted October 27, 2000 Posted October 27, 2000 I?m looking to find the year and make of the car at this website.

http://community.myway.com/pd/myfatherscar
Guest Posted October 29, 2000 Posted October 29, 2000 The car in the photo appears to be a Chrysler product business coupe, either a Dodge or a Plymouth I'm not sure, from 1941. The tailights would be a good clue but they are not visible and I can't tell what swage lines are on the front fenders. It is definitely prior to 1942 as it has external running boards. In 1942 the lower part of the door and quarter were curved outward to cover the running boaards. It is a base model car without running board moldings. I hope this helps.
Tom Deering Posted October 29, 2000 Posted October 29, 2000 '41 Dodge was the only car I can remember with this style bumper guard. 99% sure. Tom
Guest Posted October 30, 2000 Posted October 30, 2000 Id have to agree... its a prewar chrysler product, probably dodge or plymouth. Running boards and front fender shape are the key clues.
Peter
------------------
Peter Gariepy
peterg@aaca.org
www.aaca.org
