Guest Posted August 11, 2000 Share Posted August 11, 2000 I'm looking for a starter solenoid for a 1938 Cadillac Series 90 (V-16) The GM/Delco number is 1555. This is the round solenoid that bolts to the starter housing. It is unique (So I'm finding) to the late V-16. It looks similar to the usual solenoid found on many Delco starters of the period except the relay is mounted on the firewall and not on the solenoid. Anyone have one?
