ScarredKnightfan
*No joke, this is a 1965 Dodge Dart with a Pontiac nose! Would you drive it?http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/16/twist-tuesday-22/ Every so often, I feature a different spying-eye radar type image. In this case, it is a TV series scene:http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/16/tuesday-tv-22/ &, an imagine from Day 1 of my most-memorable road trip:http://www.oldcarsstronghearts.com/2015/06/16/tuesday-trip-22/ Cort www.oldcarsstronghearts.com1979 & 1989 Caprice Classics | pigValve, paceMaker, cowValve"Why'd you do it?" __ Reba McEntire __ 'The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia'
Guest
Nothing new and the car companies did this all the time. 1960 Edsel with a Pontiac front end. 1966 Ford full size has Pontiac coke bottle ( venturi ) slab side and uses Pontiac stacked headlamps from 1963-1966. 1967-69 Plymouth barracuda uses Pontiac's split grille. 1966 Charger uses Pontiac's coke bottle slab sides. 1968+ Chargers use Pontiac coke bottle styling and GM's tunnelback back glass. ScarredKnightfan
Well, yes, nothing new ... but guess I haven't seen many of the ones you mention. I certainly had never seen a 1965 Dodge Dart with a mid-late 1970s Pontiac Firebird nose on it! padgett
Is what happens on a rainy day with a car needing work on one side, a pile of parts on the other, and a plentiful supply of beer.
