41Roadmaster
I have a NOS set of Hudson adjustable license plate frames for sale on eBay. I could find no date on the packaging, but these look to be from the 30's-40's. The starting bid is $200. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201371568220?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Edited June 17, 2015 by 41Roadmaster (see edit history)
Guest mikeburch
I have a NOS CADILLAC set, exactly like those, in the CADILLAC box, I believe that the frame company, made the same set for different companies, and just made a different box. FORD, also had that same frame for an accessory in 1940.mikeburch Edited June 18, 2015 by mikeburch (see edit history)

41Roadmaster
Thanks Mike, interesting! Wayne, I listed it as used because of the box being opened. Ebay doesn't have a "NOS" catagory, and they require something "new" to be unopened. Based on the completeness of the contents, the condition of the frames, the instructions and hardware (the bag was stapled shut and I opened it for photos), it's my opinion that it is NOS. Thanks. tigersdad
These are NOS from Howard Buick in San Francisco. I think Mike is right about the same frames with different manufacturers name on the paper covers. These even came with the tags that hang on the mirror, lighter and glove box. Bought these last year for $50. Jay1932 Buick 8-86 Travelers Coupe Edited June 19, 2015 by tigersdad (see edit history)
Hudsy Wudsy
I've known a lot of Dealership offered accessories to be the same items in different packaging. I've had a number of under hood lights, trunk lights, snap-up gas caps, compasses, etc, that came in Mopar, Nash or Hudson labled boxes, but were identical.
