And From all of my research they are only splash lubricated from the bottom. the valves are only lubricated by the fuel that passes through them. I have resorted to a maximum mixture of mmo to the gas to get the valve lubrication. 1/2 pint to 10 gallons. with good results. however my car gets very cranky with out mmo Edited August 11, 2015 by STUDE48 (see edit history) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
