Guest Posted January 30, 2000 Posted January 30, 2000 I am in the process of restoring a 1937 Cord Beverly Superchared Sedan. Am looking for any books pertaining to restoring this auto- mobile. Thanks.
Silvio Petricciani< eugene17@ibm.net
Guest Posted January 30, 2000 Posted January 30, 2000 Hi Silvio, Do you belong to the CCCA? They publish a Handbook and Members Roster that lists 165 1937 Cords. Many of them have been restored by their owners who could pass on valuable info to you. If you don't belong to the CCCA and would like to join you can do so on line by visiting their web site. Are you familiar with "Classic Motorbooks" (no connection with the CCCA)? Their current catalog lists four books on Cords and they can be reached at: 1-800-826-6600. Good luck on restoring your Cord. joemalaney@classiccarclub.org

steve@autorest.com Posted February 3, 2000 Posted February 3, 2000 You should really join the ACD club. They are a group of very active and knowledgeable people that are very interested in helping others. You should contact the membership secretary as follows:
Matthew Pratt
110 Frost Ave
Ferguson, Mo 63135
314 521 0691
314 521 7835, fax
Good luck, you certainly did not pick an easy car to work on. If I can help you with anything, you can also contact me and I'll try to do what I can.
