How many 1912 Cadillac?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I doubt very much that such information is available.

Five 1912 Cadillacs are registered in the Cadillac-LaSalle Club, Inc. (2003 Directory).

I imagine that, based on the number registered in this Cadillac car club in the USA, there may be no more than two dozen of them in the whole, wide world.

It would be very hard, if not impossible to find out a total.

There are 41 listed in the 2002 HCCA Roster. And there are quite a few more that are not listed in it.

Good luck in your search.

Keep us posted,

Chris

Hello !

Thanks for your answers. As I wrote the question ( in 1999 ) I thought that there are just 20 cars around but in the meantime I know that there are more around as the roster of the HCCA shows aince I had contact with owners of a 1912 which were not members of the HCCA.

Kind regards

Tom

I didn't see your original post date of 1999. I just saw the postings when it was brought up to the top again.

Nice cars, though. We have several in our immediate area.

Hi Chris,

better it takes a loooooong time to get answers as no answers... <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes, nice cars but I have problems with the ignition. Need new distributor cap, rotor and contacts. Very rare and expensive...

The last thing was to get valve springs but found a company in Beloit which made a set for me.

Greetings

Tom

There are at least 5 1912 Cadillacs in California, Washington, Oregon and British Columbia that I know of, inclucing mine. I saw one in Sarlat du Canada France that was labeled 1911. I also have a friend in Palmerston North, NZ who has a 1912 Cadillac, with whom I trade parts. It would be difficult to enumerate all these cars in the world since they are so widespread. [color:"blue"] Anyone interested in 1912 Cadillacs (or any one or 4 cylinder Cadillacs...pre 1915) should check in with the Early Cadillac Group at ECG and join in with 65 other early Cadillac fans.
