MrEarl
Peter, Curious as to why Padgett and I are listed as "Members" under our avatar and all other moderators are listed as "Moderators". Is there something Padgett and I might need to do to affect a change? Also what is the difference in a Moderator and a Super Moderator? And under the moderators avatar, what is the "Staff" bar and what do the different number of stars represent? Link to comment
MCHinson
Good question... I know that when padgett requested to no longer be a moderator, his title was changed but as far as I understand it his moderator rights were not actually removed. I cannot understand why your title would be listed as member, although you are listed under the moderation staff on the link at the bottom of the main page and you obviously have moderator rights. I don't know how I got listed as "staff", that was a surprise. I think the stars are related to content that has been "liked" by others but I could be wrong. When I saw the moderation staff listed on the main page, I was surprised to see some of the people who have moderator rights. I knew about a few of the ones that you never see actively moderating but a few of them surprised me. I guess they were active moderators in the past but I did not realize they still had those rights. Obviously some more consistency in titles would look more professional. Hopefully Peter can shed some light on this. It would seem to me that only active moderators should have moderator access and they should all be listed by a moderator title. Link to comment
MrEarl
wasn't aware Padgett had asked to be removed from moderator status, I missed that when it happened I guess or maybe I forgot, that happens rather frequently these days. So is he not looking after that group anymore? Yea, there is a pretty long list of mods in the Moderator Team list, some I have never seen active down here, maybe it is time for a purge. thanks for your input Matt. BTW let me know if I can come over and help put that right fender back on the Century. 1 Link to comment
R W Burgess
A lot of old names there, some were former board members, some committee members. If I ever get a chance I can give a little guidance on who needs to go. I have to be on the road all this week. In Snow hill MD now....headed to Erie Pa this evening. Link to comment

MCHinson
Lamar will have to answer that. I know that he was primarily a Buick Moderator but I think he had access to all forums. Link to comment
MrEarl
Well I'll be, looks like all this time I been a Super Moderator and didn't even know it. Yea I have access to all forums and have done some moving and deleting/banning in the AACA when it was critical that it be done before others can get to it. Thanks for the explanation and I see I also received my Staff Bar with two stars. Uhhhh, what do the stars mean and how can I get more? 1 Link to comment
R W Burgess
I see that I have 2 stars too, so that tells me that the stars are not important, since I deserve not even one. 2 Link to comment
