parkertom
Does anyone know the correct badging for a 66 Wildcat GS? 48Super has a really nice convertible listed in the buy/sell forum that has block lettering for Wildcat with "GS" next to it. I came across a for sale listing for a two door hardtop that has script Wildcat with the GS next to it. Wondering if the hardtop may not be a true GS as advertised. Pete Phillips
The Bugle had a short article on that several years ago. Both types of lettering are correct; one was on the earlier cars, the other was on the later cars, but I can't remember which was which now.Pete Phillips, BCA #7338
parkertom
Thanks Pete. The badging just seemed backwards on the trunk to me. Nice to know it was changed mid year.
parkertom
Sorry, meant to attach this photo of the trunk and rear fender.
Brad Conley
Tom, The quarter emblems are correct in size and placement. The deck lid emblems are incorrect.
parkertom
Thank you Brad. I definitely felt that the trunk was wrong. Kind of like the wildcat script was there first and someone added the GS.
